On the next 28 September at an event promoted by the Portuguese Society of Health Literacy, the INATEL – Parque de Jogos 1º de Maio (Lisbon), the CIDEFES – Universidade Lusófona, and the Coordinator of the National Active and Healthy Aging Plan, in collaboration with other societies, patient associations and institutions, we are honored to be present with spinit® HbA1c, the point-of-care solution, developed in Portugal, where it will be possible to screen Diabetes, thus helping the users to monitor their blood-glycated hemoglobin levels.
Regular physical activity is one of the fundamental pillars for improving quality of life, especially in the context of chronic diseases such as diabetes.
According to a study presented by the European Commission in 2022, "73% of Portuguese say never exercise or practice sports,” a number that challenges us to promote even more initiatives that encourage movement and health care.
For those living with diabetes, exercise plays an essential role in controlling blood sugar levels, helping to reduce insulin resistance and improving cardiovascular health. By joining the screening to diabetes with the promotion of physical activity, we offer a complete opportunity for quality of life prevention and improvement.
We invite you to join us and all entities, on the next 28th September at INATEL Parque de Jogos 1º de Maio (Lisbon), and actively participate in a healthier and more active future!
